For the first Unit of my Photography Basics class, I had to create 10 Images telling a story of myself without using self-portraits and exploring these Art Elements and Design Principles:
- Rule of Thirds (Breaking up the photographic image)
- Line (Perspective)
- Frame Within a Frame (Composition)
- Abstract Close Up
- Cropping/Filling the Frame (The Four Corners of the Viewfinder)
- Point of View (avoiding the 5’7” inch problem)
- Texture and Pattern
It is much more difficult to tell the story of yourself using only "things". I'm curious what you think these images tell you about me. Please share your thoughts below!
